As usual our weekly meeting will be this Saturday 14:00-18:00 in KS14 and surrounding rooms. If you are running or bringing a game post here so people know what to expect.
This week I intend to run a roleplaying game; John Wick's Houses of the Blooded a fantasy game set in the pre-Atlantean world of the Ven, which can be described as Renaissance Italy turned up to 11. It is a game of passion, treachery and ambition, and above all style. I'll aim to have pregens for about six. |

I shall be attempting to run paranoia again.
Paranoia is a fast-paced, fun (hopefully ) RPG. Set in a dystopian future run by an insane computer. There will be many PC deaths, in fact it has been said that if there is not at least one PC death per session then it it not being played properly. To counteract this the PCs have access to clones of themselves when they die. The computer that runs the city-state has been corrupted and thinks that all communists, mutants and secret societies are treasonous, unfortunetly every citizen is a mutant and part of a secret society (one of which is communists). The objective, in addition to the main mission is to try and expose other citizens whilst not being exposed yourself.
This game is not for the faint-hearted, I would like 3-8 players _________________

It's a lot of fun, and a bit different from most games. You are all Ven nobles, though for a one off we'll gloss over the domain holdings etc. There are six primary stats, Strength, Cunning, Courage, Beauty, Wisdom, and Prowess, one at 4, two at 3, and two at 2, with a plus one bonus to the number assigned to your famly stat. Rather than skills, it works on a system of aspects, so you might have an aspect "Righteous Fury of Youth" which can be used for bonuses if you're being insulted, or used against you to get you angry.
The one off will probably be a trip to a party of a neighbouring noble, trying to get her to join forces with your patron. |
